Highland airline in no comment on service

BBC – Highland Airways has refused to comment on its future involvement in a service between Cardiff and Anglesey in Wales. The airline has been in discussions with a potential investor after hitting financial troubles made worse by severe weather affecting flights.

STV – A student sparked a New Year’s Day bomb scare at a Scottish airport as a ‘joke’ – claiming he was being picked on by security staff. Alper Balci, 23, from Istanbul, was searched three times at Inverness Airport and told one female officer: “Maybe you will find a bomb.”
