About us

Moray Firth Live is a local news and information service for the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire.

We aggregate headlines and links to local news services, and we also have our own journalists and photographers covering the area.

We publish on the web and use social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to distribute links.

We are a community news vehicle and encourage local people to get in touch with their news, pictures or videos. Remember, we don’t know what’s going on unless somebody tells us, then we’ll spread the word.

Founding editor Marc Hindley was formerly chief sub editor with the Highland News, and web editor at parent company Scottish Provincial Press. He now runs a web content management consultancy with hi wife in Forres.
